Each kit within this range comes with a set of full colour, step by step instructions. The instructions also include information about the techniques and materials that Bea used to finish her master model of this kit. However, you can of course finish this model building using whatever materials/techniques you choose.

This kit includes pre-cut external vernacular detailing, printed glazing & door and features an aperture in the base to allow for internal lighting, if required.

The main carcass of this model is cut from 2mm MDF with the architectural detailing being from high density card.

Approx constructed dimensions:

Width = 52.6cm
Depth = 5.4cm (deepest point)

Please note: Images show both a constructed OO Gauge railway kit and also a completed/decorated master model; where additional craft items have been used. These additional craft items are not included within the kit.

Stunning.

All seven buildings were completed from my earlier purchase and are now sitting on my 009 layout. The detail on these kits is outstanding and absolutely perfect for finescale railway modelling. I used a mix of finishes. I downloaded very acceptable and free laminates from Model Brickyard given Pettite's own brick sheets were unavailable at the time. I also used concrete effect spray paint on some buildings. Cost is important these days and the kits are actually cheaper than card modelling alternatives and much more robust. On cost the only criticism is the relatively high cost of Pettite's roofing strips but otherwise an outstanding product and very good value.Steve (28 Apr 2025, 12:15)
